THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Irene Westcott, 81, Green Bay, died Tuesday, Dec. 7.
Born July 2, 1929 at Kelly Lake to the late John and Mamie (Monfort) Fabry, she married Clayton Westcott on Nov. 1, 1947 in Oconto Falls. They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. She worked for Milprint in De Pere for 34 years prior to retiring in 1987.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton; a son, Randy (Lena) Westcott of Ashwaubenon; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Orvin (Viola) Fabry of Suring; sisters, Sylvia (Roy) Gerrits, Carol (Orville) Frisque; good friend, Pat Westcott; and special niece, Brenda Gerondale.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, John, Joe, Alvin, Norman, Jimmy and Clarence Fabry; two sisters, Marie Fabry and Gladys Gerondale; two brothers-in-law, Gerald Westcott and Royce Westcott; sister-in-law, Darlene (Westcott) Cain.
Friends called Friday, Dec. 10 at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Schultz officiated with burial at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
