THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE

Please Marinette County Board of Supervisors, question Director Robin Elsner of Marinette County Health and Human Services Department (MCHHSD) what the reason is for wanting to contract with an out of state agency for prescription drugs for MCHHSD clients.
As a taxpayer, I want to know what is wrong with supporting our local pharmacies?
I do NOT want my tax dollars going to another state by using this agreement with Genoa.
The County Administrator has stated the county is in debt. If this agreement goes through, current pharmacy staff may lose their jobs. Does that help the tax base with our local folks not working, therefore, not paying taxes? Not in my book.
If this agreement goes through, what do Marinette County and Mr. Elsner receive in the process? Something is just not right and I hope the County Board is willing to ask the tough questions.
As for Elsner not answering questions on the Genoa agreement, whether part of the annual report or not, is like telling a boss to take a hike. Or has Elsner forgotten we the public are his boss and as his boss I would like some answers.
Perhaps Mr. Elsner forgets who pays his salary. The taxpayers of Marinette County. Maybe we should outsource his job and save the county thousands of dollars in taxpayer dollars.
Letter to Editor:
Did the word, illegal, change since I bought my last dictionary? How can a person running for president allow an illegal immigrant to be put in the national spotlight to tell us who to vote for while claiming they're living in the shadows being scared that they might be deported??
The president is to uphold our constitution and laws; not decide which ones they like. If I went to Mexico or any other country, would I be able to do the same?
Twenty years ago or less, this wouldn't have happened here. How much lower are our standards and disrespect for our constitution going to go? Maybe our police and citizens wouldn't be getting shot if, by example, respect and honor was shown by our leaders.
After listening to other speakers who "might be legal" but not morally right, according to my Bible or anyone else's which our country was founded upon, promote the candidate, I turned the convention off. Which convention? Don't bury your head in the sand. Educate yourself as we're in a war farther than the Extreme Left.
Many thanks goes out to all those who supported the Menominee Red Wave Legion Baseball team this season. To the American Legion Post 146 for their continuous sponsorship of this very worthwhile program.
Thanks to the umpires for their dedication to the game.
To the local media for their coverage.
The scorekeepers, announcers, concession stand workers for their time and effort.
The American Legion Color Guard who represented the flag and all it stands for.
Thanks to the local Police and Fire Departments who escorted the team back from the State Tournament as hundreds of onlookers lined the streets in appreciation for their accomplishment as runner-up in the tournament at Adrian, Mich
The enthusiasm was very excellent throughout the welcome home party at Post 146 Sunday night. Parents you must be proud.
Finally, a grand slam of thanks to the coaches and players who represented everyone in a "Class A" manner.
