From Our Readers

Letter to Editor:

This past Monday, my husband and I attended the GREAT TRUMP RALLY in Green Bay. We wanted to get the facts. It was a nice "get out of the house" experience for retired folk especially after a weekend of Badger Football and crowds. Well, thousands of people jammed into the KI convention center and we didn't notice any violence except for he 3 or 4 protestors that stood out as being hired to do their thing. What a bunch of takes! I stood toward the front and my husband found a chair in the back. It was also nice to see the "violent" rally start with prayer given by Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila (KGB), a former Packer and a Born Again Christian along with the Pledge of Allegiance and Star Spangled Banner. Yes, in God We Trust! What a great way to start a political rally! And, what a way to celebrate OUR AMERICA! It was also touching to see Miss Wisconsin and learn how Mr. Trump went out of his way to reach out to her and her illness. We enjoyed the rally and I met a lot of wonderful people and everyone was concerned about each other; young and old alike. And, we enjoyed all of the energetic spirit and it was fun to raise those signs in support of the issues. It was like cheering for the Coleman Cougars!! As for the violence that the media reports, we didn't have to wear hard hats and I would recommend googling the Project Veratas tapes that describes how protestors were hired to disrupt the Trump rallies and incite bedlam. The Rally in Chicago had to be cancelled and the money paid to the protesters was traced right back to the Clinton campaign! They also describe how to get illegal aliens registered to vote! This is a federal crime interfering with the democratic process and what is being done about it??? Also, the Pay to Play Issue is horrific! AND, Mr. Trump didn't come across as a dictator as the media so describes him. As for temperament of the candidates, his was fine but I would suggest reading Crisis of Character which will give you a description of Hillary Clinton's temperament. Interesting! And, make sure you read the part about throwing the White House antique vase at the husband! And, there's other stuff. Mr. Trump comes with a colorful past and baggage BUT, he has apologized to America and his family about his offensive behavior. We all have a ghost in our closet and let him without sin, cast the first stone. This man has come to surround himself with a few Bible believing Christian leaders. Jerry Falwell, Jr. tells us that Christianity is about forgiveness and repentance. Anyone that attends church should examine the issues relative to Hillary's "emails" that made mention of politically correct behavior in their faith. Can you imagine if you had to change things in your church service for the government!!

As a woman and independent, I look at the issues and the problems in our country which are many and being a woman of Faith, I study the issues as to how these issues will affect my children's and grandchildren's Christian walk along with preserving their American heritage which is at risk. I fear for them with the possibility of open borders and the infiltration of terrorists and their illicit activities. I also fear for them with liberal Supreme Court Justices that could affect their lives and beliefs forever. And the other issues provide much concern also like Obamacare and Insurance companies pulling out. I recall the idea of "HillaryCare" years ago which was also "the craziest thing you've ever seen." Abortion is another important issue especially the partial birth abortion oat any stage. It is murder! Several premature births in our family and I make note of one grandson who went on to win 2 state championships and has a bright future awaiting him. Thus, these little ones can accomplish much if given the chance.

On election day, we will make the decision as to what direction our country will go. STUDY THE ISSUES!! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!!!

Mrs. Irene Pillath
