THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE

It seems the Marinette County Executive Board has once again decided that something needs to be done about the old jail. Their solution this time is to set up yet another committee to study what to do. The answer is easy and less expensive than making it suitable for use. Tear it down before it falls down. Every year that they wait means the cost of tearing it down will go up about 8% which means the cost now is twice the cost it would have been if they would have done it right away when the new jail was built. Common sense tells us that no one wants to buy the building or lease it as if they did want to use it they would come to the county and ask about it in the last 10+ years. Time to bite the bullet and tear it down now don't you think?
