Coleman School Seeks Volunteers for CFC
Coleman--The Coleman School Board is forming a community-based committee to serve in an advisory capacity to evaluate the school facility needs. The committee will support the School Board as they review, assess, and prioritize identified facilities needs and determine the next steps.
The CFF committee will meet approximately 11 times starting Feb. 1 until December 2017.
The facilities assessment will establish a foundation of knowledge about the current conditions of the schools and includes a detailed evaluation of security; building systems and components such as roofing, mechanical and electrical systems, heating/ventilation, plumbing, and lighting, key instructional and common use spaces, and building site circulation/parking.
After reviewing the study and prioritizing the needs, the CFC will begin to explore potential solutions to the identified needs, and help prepare a broader community-wide survey that will help the CFC in making a recommendation to the Board of Education in November.
District residents interested in being considered to serve on the Coleman Facilities Committee (CFC) should contact Douglas Polomis, Superintendent, by Jan. 12 at 920-897-4011 or email@example.com.
The CFC will support the School Board as they review, assess, and prioritize identified facilities needs and determine next steps.
