Nancy J. (Faucett) French, 79, of Pembine, passed away Monday, Jan. 30 at Golden Living Center in Florence.
Born March 17, 1937 in Norway, Mi., to the late Morris and Grace (Dixon) Faucett, she graduated from Pembine High School and married Rodger French on Sept. 21, 1957 at Presbyterian Church in Pembine. Prior to working as a Secretary at Pembine High School, she worked at the Pembine Mine and in Milwaukee.
She was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and embroidery, but mostly seeing her children grow up and watching their sporting events.
She is survived by her husband, Rodger; two children, Troy French and Tammy (Chris) Sheleski; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many extended family members and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia and two brothers, Thomas and Larry.
Family and friends may call at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jeremy Nausin officiating. Burial will be held this Spring in Pembine Cemetery. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
