George W. Felch
George William Felch 61, of Rice Lake, formerly of Marinette, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake.
Born Jan. 8, 1956, to the late Christian and Cecile (Fleury) Felch in Marinette, he graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School in 1976 and worked at American Excelsior for over 40 years, starting in Marinette and transferring to Rice Lake.
He enjoyed going to baseball games, fishing, watching football, especially the Chicago Bears and was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, fulfilling a dream of seeing them win the World Series this year.
He is survived by four brothers, Duane (Marlene) Felch of Robertsdale, Al., John Felch, Richard Felch and Donald (Judy) Felch, all of Marinette; six sisters, Shirley Felch of Marinette, Lois (Fred) Baldwin of Coolidge, Az., Hazel Felch of Menasha, Eunice (Bill) Harris of Kenosha, Linda (George) Zuleger of Neenah and Alice (Chuck) Madsen of New London; many nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth; a sister, Mary Felch; a brother-in-law, Fred Baldwin and a nephew, Daniel Baldwin.
