Beatrice "Honey" "Bea" Bushey, 96, of Green Bay, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2.
Born Dec. 7, 1920 in Marinette, she married Ronald Bushey on Dec. 1, 1946, in Marinette. She worked at the Holiday Inn Downtown, since its opening in 1973 , retiring after 30 years.
Known as "Honey Bea", she was a loving person to her family and enjoyed sewing, cards, camping and spending time with family.
She is survived by two children, James (Gale) Bushey and Sandra Bushey; a granddaughter; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; a grandson, Ronald Norbert Bushey and her siblings.
Friends called at St. Willebrord Catholic Church in Green Bay on Monday, Feb. 6 from 4 p.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 p.m., with Rev. Andrew G. Cribben O.Praem officiating. Burial was in Fort Howard Memorial Park. Blaney Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
