Robert J. Dyer
Robert J. Dyer, 60, of Suring passed away unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 10. Born Nov. 23, 1956, to Norbert and Loretta (Bushmaker) Dyer, he grew up in the Suring area and attended school there. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force for four years and returned to Suring. He then relocated to Florida where he worked as a contractor on several projects at Disney World and the surrounding communities.
He returned to Suring and worked several jobs before returning to construction work. He enjoyed working with wood, and being outside as much as he could.
He is survived by a son, Ryan (Dianna) Dyer; two grandchildren; his mother, Loretta Dyer of Pulaski; five siblings, Gregory (Barbara) Dyer of Pulaski, Mary (Alan) Hanmann of De Pere, John Dyer of Appleton, Brian (Lori) Dyer of Green Bay and Michael Dyer of Port Washington; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert.
Visitation will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Suring on Friday, Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Fr. Len Evers and Sister Marla Clercx officiating. Military rites will be performed immediately after the Mass. Interment will be in St. Michael Catholic Church Cemetery in Spring. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
