Lon M. LeFebre, 80, of Lena, passed away Feb. 13 at home surrounded by his family.
Born an only child, to the late Dorothy and Wayland LeFebre"Becker, he graduated from Lena High School in 1955. He married Margaret Graef on Feb. 2, 1957 and they were together for 60 years.
A life-long resident and business man in the Lena area, he owned and operated Lon's Implement. He restored Allis Chalmers tractors, helped establish the Allis Chalmers of Yesteryear Club in 1998 and was their first president. He enjoyed working on the Lena Sod Farm until the fall of 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; six children, Terri, Michael (Mary), Joan (Daniel), Mark, Larry (Tina) and Tim (Christy); 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lena on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. until time of the Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Lena is assisting the family with arrangements.
