THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Youth Rally at Wausaukee Feb. 28
Issue Date: February 15, 2017
Wausaukee--Eric Samuel Timm, an internationally recognized speaker and artist, will be guest speaker at a Youth Alive Rally to be held Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. at the Wausaukee School auditorium. He uses art to help his audience see what they cannot hear. Timm has spoken to over two million people in more than 35 countries in a wide range of venues from public schools to music festivals, arenas, and places of worship. He uses his words and art to captivate and catapult his audiences to action. His ability as communicator is only enhanced by unforgettable live art performances.
Timm will also speak during the day at three value-based school assembly programs held at the Wausaukee School.
The evening rally will also include an appearance by a Youth Worship Band from Calvary Church, Marinette, and the serving of Figaro's pizza, cookies, bars and lemonade following the rally. Several prizes, including a Fitbit, an Eddie Lacy autographed helmet donated by Witt's Piggly Wiggly, a Citizen Way CD, a Phil Wickham CD, and a meal package from Wausaukee Bowl, will also be awarded through drawings. Only students present at the rally will be eligible to win any of the prizes.
Four area churches sponsoring the Youth Alive Rally are Community Lutheran Church of McAllister, Cornerstone Assembly of God of Athelstane, Crossroads Church of Beecher, and Immanuel Baptist Church of Wausaukee.
Although the rally is geared for youth, anyone is welcome to attend.
