Coleman--The regular meeting of the Coleman School Board is Monday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Board Room.
The agenda includes president's welcome/meeting called to order, roll call, consent items of agenda, minutes and vouchers payable.
District Spotlight is Elementary PBIS then questions from the public. Reports will be by principal's Yvette Marshall, Elementary/MS on 5th grade field trip, MS PBIS, P/T conferences, Knights of Columbus spelling and math contest winners, Mid-term SLOS, PTO, and Read Across America. Also Doug Polomis on student of the month, wrestling team, P/T conferences, ACT, Academic Bowl, FBLA and forensic competitions.
Superintendent Polomis will discuss 17-18 scheduling, 16-17 hours of instruction update, bus driver appreciation, energy efficient project update, Feb. 23 inservice, board survey results, CFC meeting update and 2015-16 Financial Audit Report.
Discussion items are AGR report, 2017-18 School Calenda, CESA 8 Contract 2017-18, 2017 Summer School and DPI Self Evaluation Summary.
Matters requiring board action are review/approve hiring of Kasandra Kostreva, PT Library Aide, resignation of Gerald Herzog, Custodian III, resignation of Jodi Maedke, Custodian II, Shane Gould as Volunteer MS Wrestling Coach, Gary Kotecki as Volunteer HS Softball Coach, 2017-18 School Calendar, Course Description Book, donation from Northeast WI Deer Management Alliance, other District Donations, hires and resignations.
Suggested items and next meeting set for March 20 in the Board Room.
A closed session will be held on administrative review and 2017-18 staffing. The Board will resume to open session with the possibility of action.
