Coleman/Pound Has Busy Court Action
Coleman--Recent court activity for the Village of Coleman and Town of Pound Municipal Court included speeding tickets issued to Logan Angell, 25, Pound, 11-15 mph over, fined $98.80, Lynn Truckey, 31, Coleman, 20-24 mph over, fined $149.20, Christy Olsen, 38, Coleman,16-19 mph over, fined $124, Melodae Holmgren, 72, Coleman, 16-19 mph over, fined $124, Lauralynne Rakowski, 41, Pound, 20-24 mph over, and was fined $149.20. Rakowski was also found guilty of Non-registration of Auto and fined $98.80.
Jessica Baxter, 20, DePere, was found guilty of theft and fined $437.10. Luis Morales Caldero, 50, of Pound, also found guilty of theft and paid $338. Michelle Pein, 36, Crivitz, was found guilty of issuing worthless checks and assessed $662.90.
Three individuals were scheduled for trial. Three case reviews were held with two individuals due to submit proposals of payment arrangements to the court by March and one individual making a payment arrangement which was agreed upon by the court.
Teresa Gleason was found in Contempt of Court and fined $124.
Five just cause hearings were held with three individuals making payment arrangements with the Court to include one wage assignment and multiple tax interceptions placed. Two individuals did not appear for their just cause hearings. These individuals have had intercepts placed on their taxes and warrants have been placed for Michelle Pein, 36, Crivitz, in the amount of $376.74 and Roberta Nelson, 39, Coleman, in the amount of $376.02.
A bench warrant was issued for Jacob Anderson, 28, Milwaukee, for theft in the amount of $433.
