Coreena L. Chaltry
Coreena L. Chaltry, 38, passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, at Rennes Health Center-West in Peshtigo with family by her side, after 15 years of ill health.
She graduated from Menominee High in 1997 and briefly attended Wisconsin College of Cosmetology and then worked with her extended family at Becca's Dairy Treat with her friend Danielle (Travis) Meyers, until she became ill.
She loved making people smile, was a social person, touched many people with her sense of humor, had a big heart, spoke her mind and no matter what her illness, she was often found smiling.
She is survived by her step-mother, Linda Chaltry; a sister, Kathy (Matt) Schuh; nieces, Thia (Marcus) Wheeler, Megan (Kash), Ashley and Josie Schuh.
a brother, Jason (Crystal) Chaltry; nieces, Samantha, Vanessa John and Vivian Chaltry; step-sister and brothers of almost 30 years, Tahja (Dave) Breecher, Isaac (Renee) Fulcher, Caleb Fulcher Noah and (Jennifer) Warpehoski-Fulcher and extended parents, Franklin and Patricia Smithand their children.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Chaltry; her mother and step-father, Judith and William Leist and a nephew, Dillan Chaney.
Family and friends can join the family to share memories of her at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 4 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 6 p.m., led by Deacon Steve Gretzinger.
