Roy E. Johnson, 87, of Daggett, Mi., passed away Friday, Feb. 17.
Born Nov. 23, 1929 in Daggett, to the late Jons and Barbara (Fellner) Johnson, he was a lifelong farmer and mechanic.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in the woods. A member of the Agricultural Committee, he also belonged to the Stephenson Marketing Board, was Board of Directors for Mid County Rescue and was on the Cedarville Township Governing Board.
He is survived by a sister, Erna Harvey of Ohio; a special niece, Linda (Tom) Nettleton of Menominee, Mi.; a special nephew, Gary Johnson of Kaukauna and other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Johnson and Elna Taylor and three brothers, Ralph, Roger and Raymond Johnson.
Visitation was held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Oakwood in Spring.
