Gary R. Steinwehr, 68, of Townsend, passed away Friday, Feb. 17 at home with his wife of 22 years, Dianne, by his side.
Born Jan. 3, 1949 in Shawano County, he lived in Black Creek for 24 years before moving to Townsend. He worked at Metso Minerals and Davies Water Service of Appleton.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne of Black Creek and Townsend; two step-daughters, Angie Wagner, Lakewood and Sara (Nate) Schmit, Black Creek; his baby, Otis; Ken and Florence "Mom" Duffek; a son, Brian Winkler, Crivitz; three grandsons; friends, Dave Wheaton, Randy Johnson, Dale Morevac and Pete Bolsson; many cousins and half-siblings.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Muehl Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 4 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 6 p.m.
