Dorothy M. Van, 67, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14 at home.
Born Nov. 24, 1949, to the late Clifford and Dorothy (Gokey) DeMars in Menominee, she attended Menominee High School and worked at Emerson Electric for many years. She enjoyed walking, camping, being with family and eating out.
She is survived by two sons, Shane (Mary) Van and Shawn Van, both of Menominee; a daughter, Shena (Harlan) Domer of Texas; four sisters, Doris (Tony) Fugarino of Marinette, Mary (Dick) Willis of Gladstone and Sharon Demarce and Evelyn (Dean) Nelson, both of Menominee; three brothers, Al (Gerri) Demers of Appleton and Cliff DeMars and Jerry DeMars, both of Menominee; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 1 p.m. until time of Prayers at 3 p.m. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
