Dan W. Hensel, 67, of Oshkosh, died in his sleep after a long illness.
Born March 22, 1949 in Milwaukee, to Karl O. and Donalda Hensel, he graduated from Gillett High School in 1967 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a son, Shawn (Danielle) Hensel, Kaukauna; his father and stepmother, Karl O. and Irene Hensel, Oshkosh; siblings, Karl H. (Ann) Hensel, Mississippi, Sharon (Wayne) Wenzel, Oconto Falls, Tom Hensel, Wausau, Bill (Jen) Hensel, Thorp and Kathy Hensel, Oshkosh; two step-grandsons; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donalda Benedict and a brother, Alan Sutter.
Private Memorial Services will be held. Jones Funeral Service of Oconto Falls is assisting the family.
