Norma F. LeSage
Norma F. (Casebeer) LeSage, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25 at Birch Creek Assisted Living.
Born Feb. 27, 1932 in Menominee, Mi., to the late George and Gertrude (Sandberg) Casebeer, she lived in Stephenson, Mi. in her childhood. On June 11, 1955, she married Donald LeSage at Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral and they were together 27 years until he preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1982.
She was a social bug, loved shopping and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cards and jigsaw puzzles, but mostly time with her friends.
She treasured her many friends, including a special friend, Robert "Bob" Reis whom she found joy with. They spent a lot of time at their cottage in Door County.
She is survived by Three sons and daughters-in-law Steve and Debbie LeSage, Mark and Sue LeSage and Todd and Cheryl LeSage; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Nona Casebeer, Marilyn (Ron) Frosch and Darlene VanDonsel; many nieces;, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; special friend, Bob; a brother James Casebeer and two brothers-in-law, Gerald LeSage and Dale VanDonsel.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church 333 Hilltop Drive, Green Bay on Thursday, March 2 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 3 from 10 a.m. until time of a A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Hansen Family Funeral and Cremation Services of Green Bay is assisting the family.
