Jessica "Jessie" (Kastner) Marie Baumann, 45, passed away Sunday, March 5 at home surrounded by family, after a battle with breast cancer for over five years.
Born Oct. 30, 1971 in Milwaukee, to John and Colleen Kastner, in 1979 her family moved to Crivitz where she graduated from Crivitz High School in 1989. She attended Cosmetology School and worked as a stylist at Regis Hair salon and later Details Hair Salon.
She met her husband Brian in 2002 and they were married in Jamaica in 2005. Their daughter was born in 2006 and their son in 2009, both of which she committed her life to loving and spoiling them.
She enjoyed traveling and laughing, but mostly loved time with family and friends. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Peshtigo.
She is survived by her husband, Brian; a daughter, Madelyn; a son, Aiden; her mother, Colleen (Dave) Glime; two sisters, Margaret "Maggie" Kastner and Jodi Strzyzewski; two nephews, Cory Marsolek and Keegan Elfstrom and a niece, Stephanie Strzyzewski.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Kastner; her brother-in-law, Paul Baumann and her grandparents.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 9, at Faith Baptist Church, 350 N. Stephenson Ave., Peshtigo from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Services at 1 p.m., with Pastor Archer Leupp officiating. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial fund has been established.
