Albertus South, Jr.
Albertus "Red" "Bert" South, Jr., 87, of Wausaukee, passed away Tuesday, March 21 at home.
Born Dec. 22, 1929 in South Milwaukee, to the late Albertus and Vivian (Larsen) South, he married the former Carole Thompson on Jan. 10, 1953 at St. John's Catholic Church in South Milwaukee and were together 64 years. He served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1951.
He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, woodworking, yardwork, golfing and bowling. He was man of the year for South Milwaukee 1400 Fishing and Hunting Club, a Life Member of the AMVETS and an avid Packer fan.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; a brother, Dave (Bonnie) South; many nieces; nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ken.
He will be buried in Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Oak Creek. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family.
