Town of Wausaukee Takes Truck, Road Bids
Wausaukee--At the Town of Wausaukee Board meeting on Tuesday, March 14, a steamer will be purchased from Hydroclean Equipment. The Town is accepting bids for a 2018 single axle dump truck chassis, box, plow and equipment and 20,000# front axle, 23,000# rear axle, min 350 HP. Stainless steel box, sander, Underbody scraper plow wing. For details contact Bob Wesolowski at the Town Hall 715-856-5281. Sealed bids are due at the Wausaukee Town Hall, N11856 HWY 180, Wausaukee, WI 54177, by April 11 at 7 PM.
The town is also accepting bids for blacktopping with hot or cold mix paver laid 2" compacted. Seeks price per ton and blacktop seal coating per mile 20' wide. For information contact Jeff Engelmann (715)923-5669. The bids should be sealed in envelope marked BID and will be accepted until 6:30 PM April 11. Bids will be opened at the monthly meeting April 11 starting at 7 PM.
A 2014 Cat truck for Wausaukee Fire District will be outfitted by Osco Truck and Equipment.
Operator license for Christina Frye was approved and Chairman Engelmann gave an update on recycling. Road Foreman Bob Wesolowski will get more information from Eagle Recycling for discussion at the April meeting.
Members present were Chairman Jeff Engelmann, Supervisor 1 Bob Jicha, Supervisor 3 Kurt Stumbris, Supervisor 4 Dennis Taylor, Treasurer Sally Hultquist and Clerk Cheryl Stumbris. Supervisor 2 David Tomasino was absent. Others present were Bob Wesolowski, Chopper Dunlap, James Pociask, and Eric Edlebeck.
The agenda and minutes were approved.
The balance on hand as of Feb. 28 were checking $25,131.66, Money Market General Account $410,119.58.
