Lake Noquebay Sportsman's Begin Youth Trap League
The 2017 Lake Noquebay Sportsman's Club Youth Trap League will hold an introductory meeting starting at 2 PM, Sunday April 2 at the club. There will be a short introduction meeting of what the club does, who they will compete against, and how LNSC teams will be formed. There will also be a Mandatory training session for all youth league shooters. The topic is Trap League Rules of Conduct in and on the club grounds with safety at all times for one of the main factors.
The LNSC Youth league will compete against other area Youth Trap shooters from Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Sportsman clubs. Each club shoots at their own facility and scores are called in to the official scorekeeper. A Traveling Team Award will be given for Best Team in 2 Divisions. In addition LNSC Youth League awards to High Team and High Gun per team(s).
This is a 8 week League.
The Lake Noquebay Sportsman's Club is located on N9200 Maple Beach Rd., 2 blocks south of County Hwy X, east of Middle Inlet.
Cost is $10 per youth league fee which Includes T-shirt. Cost per week to students is $4/per box of shells and a $2 clay bird fee. Total cost per session is $12.00. They shoot 50 clay birds on each League day with 25 practice and 25 for score and league members can shoot ahead. There will be two practice weeks and six weeks for league.
The club is open every other Sunday starting April 2 until Memorial Day, then every Sunday. from 10 AM to 2 PM, and every Monday from 5 to 10 PM.
Youth League shooters are encouraged to shoot ahead.
Eligible is any Wisconsin or Michigan youth who is a Hunter Safety Graduate, ages 10 years to 18 years old. Individuals do not need their own shotguns. The club can provide a shotgun in either 12 or 20 gauge to any shooter who does not own one.
