June M. (Collins) Collard
June Marion Collard passed away Friday, March 24 at Rennes Health Center-East with family by her side.
Born July 13, 1925, to Clarence and Dorothy (Todish) Collins, she grew up in Menominee, Mi. and after graduation worked in Racine at a manufacturing plant during World War II.
She returned to Menominee and married Dennis Collard on Aug. 7, 1945 where they built a home and raised their four children. A busy mother and homemaker, she enjoyed crafts, restoring antique dolls, quilting and painting, with her favorite of soft sculpture. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; a daughter, Karen (John) Orland; three sons, Craig (Cindy) Collard, Curt (Gail) Collard and Dan Collard; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Roubal; a brother, Wayne Collins and a grandchild, Alexis Collard.
Visitation took place at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Monday, March 27 from 4 p.m. until time of a Vigil Prayer Service at 6 p.m., with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, March 28 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Menominee at 11 a.m., with Fr. McQuesten presiding. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
