Mary A. Harvey
Mary Alice (Fenendael) Harvey, 68, of Raytown, Mo., formerly of Marinette and Coleman, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22 at home after a long illness.
Born Dec. 6, 1948 in Marinette, she attended Fairfield Grade School and graduated from Coleman High School. She lived and worked in Wisconsin until moving to Kansas City in 1985 where she married Robert Harvey. She worked there with her brother in his dental office as receptionist and dental assistant until retiring in 2001. She enjoyed gardening, nature and animals, but mostly her puppy, Lucy.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Robert Harvey of Raytown; a daughter, Renee (Troy) Knaus and two grandsons, all of Green Bay; her brother, Dr. Edward Fenendael (partner, Frank Villigan) of Baileys Harbor; two sisters-in-law, Joan Fenendael of Maplewood, Mn. and Beverly Ingram and husband, Jerry of Paola of Kansas; two brothers-in-law, William (Darlene) Carey and Thomas Groff, both of Grain Valley, Mo. and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Fenendael and a brother, Julian Fenendael.
Visitation with a celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 4 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Coleman from 10 a.m. until time of a Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery in Pound. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Coleman is assisting the family with arrangements.
