THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Edward Pasternak, 98, of Goodman, passed away Monday, March 27 at his home.
Born Oct. 18, 1918 in Siedliszcze, Poland, to the late Constantine and Angeline (Huba) Pasternak, he married the former Stanislawa Pardona in Kovel, Poland on July 15, 1942 and they came to the United States in 1984.
A hard worker all his life, he enjoyed gardening and tending to his flowers.
He is survived by a sister, Helena Duda; extended family members and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stanislawa and a sister, Joanna.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 31 at 10 a.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery, Goodman, with Deacon Jerry officiating. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
