Roger P. Pecha
Roger P. "Buck" Pecha, 76, of Oconto, passed away Monday, March 27 at an area hospital.
Born July 24, 1940 in Oconto, to Archie and Mary (Shallow) Pecha, he attended St. Peter Catholic School and later Oconto High School. On May 1, 1993, he married Jackie Francois. He worked at Shallow Construction and Neal Pecha Trucking prior to retiring in 2002.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR and feeding deer and other animals, but mostly loved time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; five children and their spouses, Terry (Jenny) Pecha, Michael (Patsy) Pecha, Dean (Mary) Pecha, Scott Pecha and Steve (Jessica) Francois; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings, Patsy Trever, Neal (Cathy) Pecha, Ron (Anita) Pecha and Cindy Pecha; his in-laws, Mel and Dorothy Francois; a special family friend, Shirley Retzlaff; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dale "Archie" Pecha; a brother, Harland Pecha; an infant sister, Jane Marie Pecha and a brother-in-law, Ray Trever Jr.
Friends may call at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Oconto on Saturday April 1 from 10 a.m. until time of a funeral service at 2 p.m. Deacon Walt Kaszynski will officiate with burial in Oconto Catholic Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
