Rose Mary (Linsmeier) Roubal, 83, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Tuesday, March 21.
Born Sept. 15, 1933 in Menominee, to the late Charles and Theresa (Bayerl) Linsmeier, she graduated from Menominee High School. She married Donald Roubal on Nov. 20, 1954 in Birch Creek and he preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1987.
A member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek, she was a homemaker, devoted person and always had an open door for everyone, but her greatest joy was taking care of her family.
She is survived by 10 children, Audrey (Jeff) Mourar and John Roubal and Terri (Jerry) Derusha, all of Menominee, Dawn Harteau of Bloomington, Mn., Bob (Jackie) Roubal and Jim (Tena) Roubal, both of Wallace, Mi.; Bill (Sandy) Roubal of Green Bay, Ed (Ann) Roubal of East Grand Rapids, Mi., Bart Roubal of Wickenburg, Az. and Marie Roubal of Appleton; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lois Wiitala and Dorothy Mathias; nieces; nephews; and other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband Donald, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen and three brothers, Leonard, Charles F. and Robert Linsmeier.
Visitation took place at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Fr. Michael Ocran presiding. A luncheon followed with burial in Birch Creek Cemetery in Menominee. Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home of Menominee assisted the family with arrangements. A memorial fund was established in her name.
