Edna M. Kurilla
Edna Mae (Coffen) Kurilla, 75, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, March 31 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Born July 13, 1941 in Rhinelander, to the late Donald and Patricia (Belanger) Coffen, she married Kenneth G. Kurilla there on Oct. 3, 1964 and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1993.
She worked at North Shore Golf Club, Plaza Bowl and in several area retail stores around the area for many years, retiring from CVS Pharmacy. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, gardening, needlepoint, traveling, watching the Packers, time with her sisters and friends, but mostly time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Survivors include three children, Denise (Michael Georgeff) Andre of Menominee, Scott (Heather) Kurilla of Menasha and Kristin Kurilla of Menominee; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Marjorie (Claire) Johnson of Cumberland and Colleen (Rob Pripps) Coffen of Park Falls and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Kurilla; a brother, Donald Coffen II and her fiancé, Al Harris.
Family will receive friends at Anderson Kell Funeral Home in Menominee on Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. until time of a funeral service at noon. Pastor Mark Laatsch will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial fund is established for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
