June M. (Elkins) Sotka, 73, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Saturday, April 1 at home.
Born May 19, 1943, to the late Bud and Winona (Johnson) Elkins in Chicago, Ill., she graduated from Farragut High School in 1961. On Aug. 2, 1961, she married Francis "Frank" Sotka and he preceded her in death in October 1994.
They moved to Marinette in 1972 and she worked at Capital Interiors for 10 years. She enjoyed crafting, reading, computer time and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Sotka Sr. and Brian Sotka; two daughters, Karen (Nick) Millimaki and Kim Sieth; two sisters, Lynn (Bob) Dunham and Laurie Elkins; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a special friend, Bonnie Jackson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin; two brothers, Craig and Wayne and her step-mother, Shirley Elkins.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 5 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. with Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiating.
