THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
David "Dudsey" Yudes, 53, of Oconto, passed away Wednesday, March 29.
Born Oct. 16, 1963 in Oconto, to William Jr. and Shelby (Semrau) Yudes, his love for the handicap community was shown in his last job at New View Industries. He also served as coordinator of the Oconto County Special Olympics.
He is survived by his mother, Shelby Yudes; a daughter, Victoria; his significant other, Donna Gerisch; two sisters, Betty Yudes and Lori Miller; a special cousin, Todd Remeker; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Yudes; an infant daughter, Alysha; an infant sister, Debra Yudes; his grandparents, William Sr. and Mary Yudes and William Sr. and Evelyn Semrau and a brother-in-law, Jeff Miller.
Friends called at Oconto Gospel Chapel on Sunday, April 2 from 1 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 4 p.m., with Rev. Peter Dorn officiating. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Oconto assisted the family with arrangements. A Memorial Fund has been established in his memory.
