Jerome M. Lemsky, 62, of Phoenix, Az., formerly of Marinette, passed away Wednesday, April 5 in Phoenix.
Born Oct. 27, 1954 in Marinette, to Alden J. and Eunice (Rentsch) Lemsky, he spent his early life here and graduated from Marinette High School. He worked at Marinette Marine and Erdman Auto Salvage before moving to Phoenix in 1988 where he worked as a mechanic at Harley-Davidson and later at F&B Manufacturing, LLC, of Phoenix, an aerospace contractor.
He enjoyed traveling, especially cross country on his motorcycle and attended many Sturgis Motorcycle Rallies. He was skilled at painting decorative designs on motorcycles and in technology and computers. He was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his mother, Eunice Lemsky and a brother, Gerry Lemsky, both of Marinette; a sister, Heidi (Jeffrey) Walker of Menominee; two nephews and a niece, Lawrence Lemsky, Steven Walker and Stephanie (William) Flynn; a grand-niece and nephew; aunt uncles, locally and in Germany; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alden.
Per his wishes, no formal service will be held. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Marinette. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
