Puncer Open Raised $3400 for Charities

This years Puncer Open Bowling Tournament, held on Feb. 25 at the Center Bowl, drew 70 bowlers to help raise funds for two area groups. A day of fun and some bowling to helped raise $2500 for the Peshtigo Food Pantry and $900 for the Cancer Care Unit at Bay Area Medical Center. Wendy Holmes of Peshtigo was the champion followed by Jen Hipke, Peshtigo, Julie Nichols, Menominee, Marti Bertapelle, Marinette, Steph Howard, Peshtigo. The tournament is only open to women for 9-Pin bowling. Thanks to all of the sponsors for cash and prizes donated to help the cause. In the 16 years of this tournament, Center Bowl has raised over $55,000. Many thanks from the Lund family.
