Ruby Marian (Wauters) Harring, 94, formerly of Menominee, Mi., passed away Thursday, April 13 at Age Well Assisted Living in Green Bay.
Born Dec. 28, 1922 in Carney, Mi., to the late Arthur and Anna Wauters, at the age of five, her mother passed away and her father moved the family to Menominee where she spent most of her life. She married James Harring on June 21, 1947 and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2002.
She worked at McCrory's in Menominee until her retirement and was a member of Resurrection Parish in Menominee.
She is survived by two daughters, Patti (Tom) Bellisle of Green Bay and Lynda (Mike) Sabo of Castle Rock, Co.; four grandchildren; six great-grandsons; three sisters, Doris Cornell, Geraldine Ihde and Shirley (Arnie) Spaude; three brothers, Duane (Rita) Wauters, Glen Wauters and Donald (Barb) Wauters; a sister-in- law, Gwen Wauters and many nieces and nephews.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James; step-mother, Marian Wauters; a granddaughter, Jill Sabo; a brother, Gerald Wauters; brothers-in-law Francis Cornell and Glen Enstrom, Dean Harring, and Len Sieloff; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Sieloff, Jen Harring, Irma Harring, Mary Wauters and Joan Wauters; nephews, Steven Cornell and Brad Harring and a niece, Jill Ryback.
Visitation was held at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette on Tuesday, April 18 from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m., with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
