Wanda F. Osterberg
Wanda F. (Hollingsworth) Osterberg, 67, of Florence, passed away Monday, April 17 at her home.
Born Oct. 16, 1949 in Norway, Mi., to the late Claude and Eunice (McEwing) Hollingsworth, she grew up in Beecher and graduated from Pembine High School. She married Richard Osterberg on Dec. 23, 1999 at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford, Mi. She lived most of her life in Niagara before moving to Florence in 2005.
She worked for Marinette County Elderly Services, Maryhill Manor Nursing Home for 10 years and the Lakeside Bed and Breakfast of Florence. She enjoyed decorating, shopping and garage sales where she socialized, but mostly time spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Richard; two children, Clint (Amy) Chartier and Robbyn (Bryan) Larson; five step-children, Lisa Osterberg, David (Robin) Osterberg, Benjamin (Pam) Osterberg, Alan Osterberg and Kristin (Lon) Weber; eight grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Bonnie) Hollingsworth and a special aunt, Mary Hord.
Visitation was held at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford on Friday, April 21 from 10 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Rev. Michael March officiated with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church Pavilion Fund in her memory. Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron Mountain assisted the family with arrangements.
