Audrey M. Anderson, 94, of Stephenson, MI., passed away Saturday, April 29 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center.
Born May 7, 1922 in Laona, to the late Samuel and Bertha (Dumas) Gerue, she married Edwin H. Anderson on Sept. 14, 1940 at Bethesda Lutheran Church and he preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1997.
She enjoyed traveling, but especially needlepoint and was a charter member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible School.
Survivors include six children, Edwina Wandersee, Harlan (Judy) Anderson, James (Jean) Anderson, Roger (Debra) Anderson, Gary (Pam) Anderson and Debby (Ron) Ullman; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Myrna (Ray) Pratt and a brother, Ray (Pat) Gerue.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, David Machalk; a son-in-law, Rev. Donald Wandersee; two brothers and two sisters.
Family will receive friends at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Stephenson on Thursday, May 4 from 10 a.m. until time of a funeral service at noon. Pastor Cori Johnson and Pastor Dave Christenson will officiate with burial in Stephenson Township Cemetery. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family with arrangements.
