Russell R. Allen
Russell Robert Allen, 63, of Oconto Falls, formerly of Little Suamico, passed away Wednesday, May 3 at King Street Home in Oconto Falls.
Born June 2, 1953 in Green Bay, to the late Harold and Florence (Schultz) Allen, he worked at New View in Gillett.
He loved being with family, making people laugh, watching the Packers and playing his guitar. He competed in Special Olympics in track and field and bowling. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Abrams.
He is survived by a sister, Candi (Dan) Allen, Pulaski; five nieces and nephews, Brenda (Scott) Weinandt, Renee Baribeau, Bob Baribeau, Jim Allen and Tyler Allen and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Allen.
The family received relatives and friends at Calvary Lutheran Church in Abrams on Sunday, May 7 from 12:30 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Andrew DeGier officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Gallagher Funeral Home of Oconto assisted the family with arrangements.
