Corliss L. Castello
Corliss L. (Young) Castello, 91, longtime resident of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, May 2 at The Waterford at Colby Assisted Living Center in Colby.
Born Oct. 4, 1925 in Rapid River, Mi., to the late Bessie (Larabee) and Lynn Young, she married John W. Roepke in 1949 in Marquette, Mi. and he preceded her in death in 1958. She later married Eugene Castello in Marquette, Mi., who also preceded her in death in 2014.
Corliss enjoyed many things but none more than her husband, children, their spouses and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Peter (Barbara) Roepke of Medford and Steven (Michele) Castello of Waukesha; three grandsons and a half-sister, Betty (Francis) LaFrenier of Englewood, Fla.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-brother, Michael Bodenus of Gwinn, Mi.
As per her request, there will be no visitation. Private family services were held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette, with entombment in Forest Home Mausoleum in Marinette.
