Faye I. Larsen
Faye Iva (Parker) Larsen, 79, of Porterfield, passed away Tuesday, May 2 at Aurora Hospital in Green Bay.
Born April 25, 1938, to Albert and Erna (Schulz) Parker, she graduated from Marinette High School and attended Marinette County Teachers College and became a teacher. She married Curtis Larsen on Aug. 6, 1960.
She taught at Sandberg School and Crivitz Elementary School. Also a homemaker and mother, she enjoyed being a Cub Scout leader, 4-H leader, Sunday school teacher and volunteered with the Ladies Aid at Porterfield Lutheran Church.
In 1986, she realized her dream of owning a book store and opened the Bookworm Exchange, which she operated until her death.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis; five children, Wade (friend, Kelsay) Larsen and Beth (friend, Dan), both of Porterfield; Jaci (Wayne) Malueg, Seymour; Chad (Tammy) Larsen, Suamico and Amy (Paul) Dey, Cheyenne, Wy. 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Hilda; two sisters, Margaret and Fern and a grandson, Trent.
A private service will be held at a later date. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home is assisting the family.
