Ruth L. Rose
Ruth L. (Hill) Rose, 87, of Marinette passed away Monday, May 1 at Bay Harbor in Suamico.
Born April 5, 1930, in Marinette to the late Frank and Dallice (Martin) Hill, she worked as a waitress for many years at Olson's Restaurant and most recently at Dan's Family Restaurant.
A member of the Loomis Auxiliary Legion, she also belonged to the Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by a son, Jerry (Cathy) Binder of Sterling, Ill.; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; a brother, Raymond (Phyllis) Hill; two sisters, Geneva Olson and Beatrice (Jim) Dietrich and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Sheryl) Leonard; two brothers, Ralph and Jerry Hill and a sister, Olive Petcka.
A Celebration of Life was held at Pioneer Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 7 at 2 p.m. Pastor Jon Nelson officiated with burial in Forest Home Cemetery. Thielen Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
