THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Little Free Library Now in Coleman
The Village of Coleman has its first "Little Free Library" thanks to Sherrie Wilson. Her daughter, Jeanette Harley had the "little library" made out of old barn wood from Sherrie's grandparent's farm and gave the library to her mother ar Christmas.
Since then, her husband, Larry set it on a platform on the south side of E. Main Street in Coleman near the Belgium Rd intersection. After setting the location, a number of individuals donated books to the site. Tina Brand, who is also the Coleman Librarian, and her granddaughter, Maddie Tachick, Jeanette Harley and her children, Shane and Grant Harley, Debbie Pagel, librarian from Coleman Public Schools, Danielle Roberts, and Gail Wielgus.
The library currently has between 30-40 books. Wilson has registered the library online at littlefreelibrary.org so that everyone including those from out of town can access the books. The public is welcome.
