Wausaukee--The Wausaukee Town Board met June 13 at 7 PM at the Town Hall.
Present were Chairman Jeff Engelmann; supervisors David Tomasino and Dennis Taylor; Treasurer Sally Hultquist; Clerk Cheryl Stumbris. Absent was Supervisors Bob Jicha and Kurt Stumbris. Also present were Jack Zore, Bob Wesolowski, Chopper Dunlap, James Pociask, Maryanne Tomasino, and Gloria Smith.
Approved was the agenda and minutes
The financial balance as of May 31 was checking $42,643.19 and MM General Account $279,669.44.
The financial report and vouchers were approved.
Part of Pike River Rd. and Freele Rd. for the Firecracker 5K on July 1 will be closed.
Liquor License was approved for "Bear Point Yacht Club" and Liquor/Cigarette Licenses for "Sociables Bar and Grill".
Road construction 2017 will begin soon. There was no action on the "Back to School" program.
Tomasino reported he has been communicating with the DNR regarding Grant steps to process for new Recycling Program. Along with that Tomasino made a motion to withdraw from Northwoods Recycling Coalition as of May 31.
