BUSY DAY ON THE FARM"Over 4,000 people enjoyed great food and many attractions at the David Denowski farm on Sunday, June 25 despite wet weather, muddy conditions and threatening rain. The event was the annual Marinette County Breakfast on the Farm, part of the June Dairy Month celebration. New this year at the breakfast, was an airplane candy drop which was well received by spectators. Over 4,200 People Attend Breakfast on the Farm June 25

The Marinette County Breakfast on the Farm held on June 25 at Golden Ridge Dairy in Crivitz was a huge success. Over 4,200 people attended. The farm, owned by David and Sheila Denowski and their son, Chad and his wife, Kelly, is located two miles east of Highway 141 on East 18th Road. Their daughter, Tracy and her husband, Zach Zaidel, are also actively involved on the farm. An oldest daughter, Michelle and her husband, Dale Konop, work off the farm.
Served were 200 gallons of ice cream, 3,000 chugs of chocolate milk, 1,000 chugs of white milk, 100 gallons of orange juice, 1,000 pounds of sausage, 1,500 pounds of eggs, 140 pounds of shredded cheese, 40 pounds of butter, 520 pounds of pancake batter mix, 30 gallons of maple syrup, and 400 pounds of cheese curds.
For kids there was a petting zoo, Moo-Mania comedy show, kiddie tractor pull, face painting, balloons, kids bouncy play area, airplane candy drop, music, wagon rides, and viewing of barns and cattle.
Due to the wet conditions, parking was an issue for people. Cars were lined up along the roadway because fields were too wet to drive on. Wagons were available to pickup patrons as they arrived for breakfast.
Proceeds from the event are reinvested into ag-related promotions in Marinette County throughout the year with youth.
