Curtis Finley Smith, 63, of Crivitz, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at home.
Born June 30, 1953 in Rockton, Ill., to the late Willis Finley and Neva (Palmer) Smith, he met Wileyna Gail Marshall, the daughter of Edward H. and Ella Jo Marshall in New Milford, Ill. on June 26, 1974. They married on Oct. 26, 1974 at New Milford United Methodist Church.
He loved God, life, spending time with family, hunting, fishing, was faithful, protective, strong, supportive and a loving man.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; three brothers, Arthur Edward (Joan), Richard James and Billy Smith; his mother-in-law, Ella Jo Marshall; three brothers-in-law, John Edward, Joseph Henry (Cheryl) and Mirek Harold (Karen) Marshall and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four children, Lee, John and two infants; two brothers, Larry Allen and Willie Lee (Lillie) Smith; two sisters, Eugenia Kay McKibben and Linda Lou Boyd and father-in-law, Edward H. Marshall.
Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz assisted the family.
