Betty Jane (Paulson) Spitzer, 87, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Atrium Acute Care in Menominee.
Born Dec. 23, 1929 in Ingallston Township, to the late Victor and Grace (Braley) Paulson, she married Raymond Spitzer in Menominee on July 30, 1949 and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2009.
She worked at the Knitting Mills in Menominee for 18 years and then at K-Mart. She enjoyed spending time with family, sewing and walking and was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Joe) Fournier of Menominee and Debbie Spitzer of Minnesota; a son, Francis (Annette) Spitzer of Menominee; a sister, Joyce Anderson of Wallace; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Raymond, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Paulson and a sister, Ruth Mumpy.
Private family services will be held at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Birch Creek Cemetery. Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family.
