Donald Robert Dettman, 55, of Peshtigo passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at home.
Born Sept. 18, 1961 in Marinette, to the late Melvin and Arlene (Bruce) Dettman, he served in the United States Navy on the USS Ranger during the Gulf War.
He was a kind hearted, caring, giving person with a good sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a Packers and Brewers fan.
He is survived by a brother, Robert (Janice) Dettman of Pulaski;
a sister, Marcia Dettman of Green Bay; many nieces; nephews and a close friend, Ron Ellie.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl (Johnston) Dettman.
Visitation was held Saturday, July 8 at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon. Pastor Luke Myslik officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo. A memorial fund was established in his memory. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo assisted the family with arrangements.
