Theresa (Sosnowski ) Krause, 88, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care.
Born Oct. 5, 1928, to the late Joseph and Stephanie Sosnowski in Detroit, she graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in 1945. On July 13, 1957, she married Thomas Krause in Detroit and they moved to Menominee in 1973. She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends, and the casinos.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Menominee; nieces; nephews and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Visitation took place at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Monday, July 10 from 2 p.m. until time of a Vigil Prayer Service at 3 p.m. with Deacon Vince Beckley presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Parish with Fr. Mark McQuesten presiding and Deacon Vince Beckley assisting. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
