Sally Lou Bentley, 79, of Peshtigo, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Gilbert, Az.
Born May 31, 1938 in Marinette, to the late Alexander and Pearl (Roggendorf) Koldos, she married Kenneth Bentley on July 12, 1958 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marinette. She worked at Marinette Marine, retiring after 25 years as Payroll Supervisor.
A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo, she enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling, but mostly time with family and friends. She loved life and her laughter was contagious.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth; a daughter, Karen (Thomas) Baer of Richfield; a son, Scott (Nancy) Bentley of Pewaukee; four grandchildren; two sisters, Joan (Ronald) Cook of Peshtigo and Nancy (Richard) Olsen of Marinette; two brothers-in-law, Allen (Martha) Bentley and Ronald (friend, Lyla) Bentley and many nieces; nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Roy (Agnes) Bentley and sisters-in-law, Eileen (Robert) Lindquist and Marlene Bentley.
Family and friends can gather at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo on Friday, July 14 from 10 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Fr. Jesus "Jeff" Bascuna Berdol will officiate followed by a luncheon. Anderson Kell Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family with arrangements.
