THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Jerry Durocher, a well known Peshtigo resident and former businessman, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 after a battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; four sons and their families; four sisters, Kay (Pete) Lamensky, Fay (Don) Smith, Rita Berg and Judy (Bob) Henning and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Alphonse and Helen Durocher, he was preceded in
death by a brother, Roger and a brother-in-law, Tom Berg.
Visitation will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo on Saturday, July 15 from 8 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Fr. Jesus (Jess) Bascuna Berdol, Fr. Jack (John) Harper and Fr. Robert Karuhn will officiate. Burial will be held in St John's Cemetery in Coleman. A full obituary will follow from Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home in the July 19 edition of the Peshtigo Times.
