Elaine A. Pfaff, 97, of Mountain, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
Born April 4, 1919, to the late Walter and Anna (Coleman) Saffran in Wisconsin, she married Edwin Pfaff on June 11, 1937. She enjoyed sewing and making ceramic crafts.
She is survived by nine children, Janice Frederickson of Bonners Ferry, Id., Rosa (Robert) Schenkenberger of Aurora, Co., Ruth Schomer of Mesa, Az., Susan Donaldson of Belton, Tx., Bruce (Pat) Pfaff of Downers Grove, Ill., Steven (Linda) Pfaff of Pueblo, Co., Deborah (Don) Snider of Bolingbrook, Ill., Richard (Debi) Pfaff of Cheyenne, Wy. and Valerie (Dan) Fingal of Mountain. three siblings, Walter (Lorna) Saffran of Oconto Falls, Elizabeth Patula of Westmont, Ill. and Carol Dunn of Denver, Co.; 28 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin and siblings, Eva Babich, Harold Saffran, Leo Saffran and James Saffran.
Visitation will be held at Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain on Saturday, July 22 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Paul Scheunemann will officiate, followed by interment in Mountain Cemetery. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials are appreciated to Unity Hospice of Green Bay in her memory.
